Ken Marshall asked a very good question about replying to group messages which
also illustrates why I am sending you updated email addresses for everyone in
the Group.
Ken wrote: “if I reply to another brother who is on the master list, does it go
only to that brother, or does it go out to the whole group?”
ANSWER - If you REPLY to a group message, the To: list will automatically be
set to dsp-ea-general@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:dsp-ea-general@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> and
if you don’t do anything, your Reply will go to the whole group, even if you
have added additional email addresses
HOWEVER - If you want to Reply with a personal comment to just go to one or
more specific Brothers, and NOT to the whole group, you have two simple options:
1. Select REPLY, then delete the dsp-ea-general@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
<mailto:dsp-ea-general@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> address that automatically appears in
the To: list and replace it with the addresses you want to use.
2. Select FORWARD and enter in the addresses you want into the To: list
(dsp-ea-general@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:dsp-ea-general@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> does NOT
automatically appear on a Forwarded message).
