It is probable that some of have had Tinnitus. That is a noise in an ear
that has no source.
I have live with a similar problem for many years. My right ear I hear
music. It varies - right now I am listening to a Civil War piece “When
Jonny come marching home”. It has what seems to be a choir with some
instrumentation. Quite nice actually repeat several times then it will
change to another song. The choir has many songs in its repertoire. At
other times I might hear a three or four note bar, repeated again and
again. All done baby this ghostly choir.
This has a name. It is Musical Ear Syndrome. I was relived that there are
others out there with the same problem and wondered if anyone hear
experienced this strange syndrome?
While this is now recognized as a syndrome ? It happens during quiet
times. I find it quite pleasant. The cause is unknown so naturally there
is no cure.
