I am posting a clip with a bit of a story. My son and son-in-law both use
drones at work on wellsites. My son uses his drone a lot and his son (my
grandson Will) got interested. Will saved his money and bought a micro drone
(less than 250 grams so no license required).
Last September, when Will was 11, he brough his new drone up to our place.
Grandma asked him to do an aerial video of our house. I asked him to include
our community dock (with Grandpa's boat) which is on a road allowance across
the front street. Will made a video but had a bit of trouble because his
hand me down iPhone 5 didn't have the CPU power to process some of the fancy
shots without a few skips. So Will used Grandpa's iPhone 8 and Grandpa
watched. We discussed the video composition, Will shot all the scenes,
downloaded them to his iPad, edited the final video, then added the music
and titles. Grandpa was astounded.
Today Will has Grandpa's iPhone 8 and Grandpa felt justified in buying an
iPhone 13 Pro Max (with 3 camera lenses, Lidar focusing, amazing results in
low light). Grandpa also got a drone but is not as good as Will.
