You can buy a hook for your pole from Whitmer's. And then, you can go on and
move to a four in hand when the mood hits you. :) This won't work off a drop
pole, please note. And for most modern poles, there is a higher angle setting
for a four in hand to off set the weight of the lead bars and to make sure the
pole end is high enough off the ground.

weld) a ring on the end of the pole and hang the bar off the ring. But your
leader needs to be able to pull every now and again unlike the tandem leader
