There must be some kind of law that says when the perfect horse and/or carriage comes up for sale, it will be on the wrong side of the country. Just for the sake of comparison, when I bought my new VSE PAIR carriage (see? It's multiple related) I had to have it shipped from PA to Portland, Oregon. My original transport fell through and I had to take a last-minute deal. I think I ended up paying $825US. I think it was a freight transporter and it was delivered with another carriage. The dealer arranged it for me. Rachel in BC > I found a great carriage I want to buy. The problem is that it is in > Virginia and I am in Southern California. I am usually up for a good > excuse to make a road trip. But now that I have a 2.5 year old son I > can't just up and go. I have never hired someone to transport > something like that. Does anyone here have experience with it? > > Who would I contact? > > How much should I expect it to cost? (the carriage is tall and 13.5 > feet long) > > I am betting that with the price of transportation this carriage will > be out of my price range. I just wanted to check for sure. _________________________________________________________ To Unsubscribe, change to Digest or Vacation mode go to: http://www.drivingpairs.com/index.php?pg=2 `````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
