I tend to put the greenie on the near side, that way I have the eperienced horse in front of me and the greenie is under the whip. I like my kneecaps. I had a youngster start kicking once, necissitating a rapid seat change when he got both legs over the dash momentarily. After we got thngs straightened out, we drove a bit more, then went back to the barn. It was only then I noticed the 8-10 1/4 inch dents in the steel immediately below the drivers wedge. Yep, unless something else tells me otherwise, I don't sit behind the greenie. Oh, and this was not even the first outing for this horse, he was well broken, just something made himdecide to test my agility that day. Sterling Sterling D. B.
