I tend to put the greenie on the near side, that way I have the eperienced
horse in front of me and the greenie is under the whip. I like my kneecaps.
I had a youngster start kicking once, necissitating a rapid seat change when
he got both legs over the dash momentarily. After we got thngs straightened
out, we drove a bit more, then went back to the barn. It was only then I
noticed the 8-10 1/4 inch dents in the steel immediately below the drivers
wedge. Yep, unless something else tells me otherwise, I don't sit behind the
greenie. Oh, and this was not even the first outing for this horse, he was
well broken, just something made himdecide to test my agility that day.
