Interesting to hear the different thoughts on how to go about placing the
horses in a pair.  My boys, I have been told, were being driven with the
older horse on the left, with the younger on the right........because they
were going better this way than in the reverse positions, where they had
originally been placed.

What is the logic to switching sides on a somewhat regular basis?  How do
you know when it is time to leave them in specific positions?
