Well said Hardy. It seems that people try to rush getting the extension more
than any other step in the training.

I am happy to read that the rein adjustments helped. Now to the question of 
getting more extension.  That's a LONG term project! Extension comes from 
Collection, and it takes YEARS to build that up properly. I have a series
going in 
Carriage Driving West Magazine about the German Training Scale where more of

the details are covered than I can write here. So don't ask for too much too

soon. Don't expect miracles. It needs to be built up long term. In the
meantime, 
usually I have found with many drivers, asking for less will often give you 
more. Don't be greedy, but break down the training into many very small
steps, 
that's how you reach the top, a long long stairway.
