Margaret, how old is this horse you want to start ground driving?
About 6 or 7, not sure
Teach him
oral commands by leading him if he doesn't already know them.
he knows all the commands
All you need
is a pair of driving lines (reins) and a saddle from a harness. Get some
one to help you by leading the horse when you give the command to walk on
etc. You don't need the old horse to go with him. It is easier than you
think. Most horses pick up ground driving quickly.
Ok well, I'll give it a try. No one to help here but will just work a little
bit at a time.
He ground drives very well and is a pro at the command HO.

Thanks for your reply and Happy Holidays!
Margaret
Good luck
