Hi - My name is Susan Lawson and I'm new to the list. I just picked up a second fjord this past weekend and will hopefully be driving a pair in the next year. She is only three and not broke to drive at this point. I had planned on driving her as a single first before hooking her up as a pair. I also have a Pacific Dartmoor and was hoping to be able use it for a pairs vehicle. My fjords are on the lighter side, 13'2, and probably around 850 lbs. Would it be unsafe to use with this pair? I had planned on putting some weight on the back step when I didn't have a groom. I will be in the market for a synthetic pairs harness if someone has a reasonably priced one out there.
