Glad about your getting ready to drive a pair of Morgans. They are great!
I drive Morgans and they will go for you, as long as you wish. I wish you
were closer to Texas for Gene Brown is a great trainer. He has trained two
of mine and fixing to start on my third. But, some good ones up your way,
for sure. Best to you. Freddie Smith in Georgia. P.S. Join the Carriage
Association of America and you will get alot of great reading about
carriages and driving. See ya!

Subject: [drivingpairs] Starting a new Morgan Pair this spring - Advice?

I have am NEW to pairs driving though I've been pleasure driving single
for many years.
I have a new pair of Morgan sisters, coming 4 and 5, that are untrained
except some basic barn manners.
I want to find someone to start them under saddle and driving as well as
get me started with them as a pair.
I'm looking for advice from this very knowledgeable audience on how to
approach this on a budget. What has worked best for you? Can you
recommend trainers?

Please help.
