Just thought I'd see what everyone's opinion was on that.
I feel that pairs are easier to drive. Why? Because whenever you have one
horse that doesn't want to pass something, the other is bound to not mind
that obstacle and will pull the reluctanct one along past it. Usually, horses
find different things spooky. One may not want to go over that trickle of
water at the intersection. The other may not like to pass over white lines or
manhole covers or pass that balloon the neighbor tied to his mailbox. It's
really nice if one is a seasoned babysitter type for the other one. And since
horses are herd animals their confidence is bolstered when confronting demons
with a pal.
