There are Morgans that "broken pace", a kind of amble and rack. That said,  
they also can walk, trot and canter. They, like some ASBs are considered to be  
"five gaited". Some breeds, like TWH and Rocky Mountain Horses , and the 
various  Paso Breeds cannot trot. These are what are considered "non trotting 
breeds",  which might be a better term for them than "gaited", as all horses 
have  
"gaits".
I had a wonderful Morgan mare that W/T/C and did an extremely comfortable  
trail gait, a kind of "amble' four beat gait.
Some of her offspring can do it, some cannot.
There is even a Morgan club for the "gaited" Morgans, the Morgan Single  
Footing Ass. and a Yahoo group as well.
