[drivingpairs] New Driver and Carriage ?'s

Hi,
I have been a long time carriage driving enthusiast-
mostly pleasure driving with some CDEs mixed in over
the past few years (single only). In addition, I have
also, groomed/navigated for others, volunteered at
driving shows, and was even a learner judge for a bit.

I have a single (large pony/small horse size) that I
just started this spring that needs some mileage with
another one on the way to just starting in the shafts
that will also need some milegae. I plan on putting
them together next year.

I am looking into pairs marathon carriages (that can
also be used for dressage- so not too terribly sporty
looking). I do not plan on doing advanced. I found
that I like the Glinkowski pony sport model, however,
I am not thrilled on a price tag of around $7500 for a
first pairs carriage- probably later on when I figure
out what I really like/need.

Would anyone be able to suggest a cheaper alternative
(besides a used one)? Other manufacturers? I am having
trouble finding anything on the web.

Thanks,

Christine
