In training division, you can use wire wheels with No-Mor flat inserts to keep from getting a flat. But in preliminary, you must have wooden or metal wheels. They have just started enforcing that around here recently. That is in CDEs. ADTs can have their own rules and let us compete however we want around here with whatever type wheel in either training or preliminary (minis can only go up to preliminary , so far around here. Though I heard someone back east is going up to advanced with VSE (very small equine) in their ADTs. We recently bought staggered spoke aluminum wheels from Lee Helm, but we don't have pictures of them yet on the website. So now the Bob's 4-wheel carriage and the easy entry cart for Linda's single will both be legal for preliminary anywhere. Where did you order your metal wheels from? How much did they weigh and are they aluminum or steel?
