Dear Newcomer, I have used the breast strap/tug system on my pair for about 3 years now. The main reason that I don't use the hanes/collar is because of cost and fit for each horse. When I was setting up my team it was too expensive to put them in collars and they work just fine as they are. We have driven several CDE and ADT events and done very well with this setup.
