Heather isn't tell all the story...
At one of the first shows I attended with Ellen, my wife, Heather
needed a groom. Ellen volunteered, and at line up hopped out of the
cart and stood as a header, in front of the horse.
When the judge came to Heather, he looked over her very smart turnout,
natty attire and well-groomed horse he smiled and said, "Back, please!"
At which Ellen started to take a step back...and the judge grabbed her,
saying, "No, not you, the horse!", pointing at the big puddle she was
about to step back into. "You'd drown!"
David gave me one of my first driving lessons, for which I am still
grateful.
And what she wrote below is the essence of the two of them...welcome to
the list!
We enjoy Good Sport, Good Horses (and Ponies too!) and most
importantly Good Friends. The Sport of Driving has the Best Folks out
there!
