The pole on my Bennington pairs vehicle came padded with a snap on vinyl
cover (the cover is green to match the vehicle). If I had pad a pole I would
pad
it with foam and have someone make me a vinyl cover, with snaps or a zipper,
that would fit tightly over the padding. My Bennington is about 9years old and
the pole and padding have held up well.
