[drivingpairs] Driving a Gelding and Mare

Hi Lorraine,
We drive mostly mares in our pairs but we also put the geldings in the mix.
We've never had any trouble with a mare gelding mix. Right now our
competition pair is a mare (12) and gelding (5) while we bring the recently
weaned mommas back into competitive form.
We prefer mares (even the ones that PMS when they cycle) over geldings.
