I have seen a pair with all kinds of problems, and then someone else 
takes up the lines and things get straightened out.

At Sleipnir Morgan Farm and Driving Center we teach contact using 
tricycles and reins and a rein board or wooden chairs balanced.

Especially fun with the chairs...when set up for four!
