I too liked the Bird in Hand Flyer for trail and non-competitive performance ( so-called "Pleasure" classes) for all the reasons given by Sandy Williams. Had one for several years and graduated to the Bird in Hand Eagle. A word of caution about the Flyer. Depending on its age, it may come with or without a reach. If it has a reach, it will not be able to make a full 90 degree turn even thought body is cut under and therefore you'll be somewhat limited in running hazards.
