Jerry, out West they are called Bellflingers. Several folks have made this 
cross with varying results.  One friend even took it a step farther, and bred 
her Bellflinger mare to a Hackney.  She got a 14 hand drafty looking sorrel 
with a LOT of knee action.  <VBG> She was not able to continue this experiment 
due to ill health.
