You are doing good with keeping the pinching in mind and putting the rein on
the bar or rough cheek, but I still prefer fixed cheeks for pairs, so that if
needed I can also go on the first slot, and pinching is never even a remote
possibility. I do not see any advantage in a sliding or swivel cheek.
