Pretty sad when I watch a classic movie like Ben Hur and all I can focus on
are the harnesses. The four abreast chariot horses were all wearing french
collars but the surfaces were done with filagree leather and brightly
colored inlays......absolutely beautiful!!
Some pretty wild horse racing in that movie!!......and the guys that get
ssssbbbhttt all over the arena (I know it's fake bodies but it still looks
like it hurts big time!) All those wrecks.....and when Heston's chariot
goes flying over the wrecked one, whahooo!!.....I wonder how many injured
people and horses in the making of that movie, YIKES!!
WAYYY more exciting than the Chariot Races 2002 on Life Network.
