Oops sorry, just checked the archives again and my message along with other
messages including Rob's reply have now shown up. Glad people can see the email
addresses. Will have a look when my digest eventually comes through about 2pm
this afternoon. Regarding Chis's garbled message. I found the same happened to
one of my messages when I used my mobile phone to send a message to the list
one time. I figured perhaps the settings on my mobile were probable wrong so
avoided sending from the mobile after that. Strangely though the message looked
fine in the archives. Go figure.

Hi All,
I notice in my post to DPS regarding the 2/3MG Battalion that the contact
details for those gathering information has been removed which makes my message
of no use to anyone who wishes to contact them or to supply them with further
info on the soldiers. Is there any way around this? I remember now that I did
notice a while back when I posted a list of Names from the book Behind Bamboo
and offered lookups that my email address was masked. I thought as my message
would go into the archives it would be there for people to find in the future
and they could contact me. Being interested in genealogy and always hoping to
be contacted by long lost relatives it can be counter productive to have our
contact details hidden. Just not sure how I can get around this problem for the
people who asked me to post their details about the 2/3MG men.
Thanks for any advice.
Sharon
