'Please explain' how on earth the found postcard message prompted you to check out AWOL stock from the State Library and tie it to ACC 3471A.

Surely the library police don't have an app running that sniffs out book thieves and fine dodgers!

I was able to identify the WWl postcard as being part of a collection of postcards held in the State Library of WA.
ACC 3471A. A postcard from James Leslie Turner, or Les, of Fremantle to his Mum in WA while he was stationed in England in 1917. He died in France in 1918.
No idea how it got to be at on the grass at Langley Park.
The lady who wrote the message in Can you Help said she has tried to identify the postcard since her sister found it in 2015.
She'll return it to SLWA ASAP.
