Hello again! Did you miss me last month? Once in a while
events conspire to prevent me from having time for it. I
try not to let it happen too often but you know that old
saw about the best laid plans.
And suddenly my Chromium browser won't give me a proper view
of my bookmarks so getting to my ezine folder is going to be
challenging. Oh well, I'll figure it out...

Ok I switched to Google Chrome, removed all its bookmarks
and replaced them with the bookmark files from Chromium
(which has been my default browser for a couple of years
now) and the bookmarks manager in Chrome works fine so I'm
back in business.

Chordius is an excellent little Windows software app that
lets you create chord diagrams for about any instrument
which has strings and frets (whether right or left handed).

There used to be a Linux version of this software but, for
nerdy technical reasons, it no longer runs on Linux.
I needed a chord diagram to answer a question I got (in my
email) from another guitarist and, with help from google,
found a solution.

It's no secret that numerous technology companies helped
with the development of Linux as a viable Operating System
but this one was a surprise to me. Clear Linux is an
Operating System developed by Intel which has been optimized
for Intel microprocessors. I haven't tried it but I find it
fascinating and will probably 'test drive' it before long.
