[dokuwiki] Re: recent changes doesn't show anything

hi,
the data/change.log was indeed empty.
but now that I know what file I needed to look after, I noticed that
it didn't have the correct owner and thus made it impossible for
apache to write into it!
I wonder why I got NO error report on this from the application that
it can't write to the log file?
