[dokuwiki] question on darcs plugin

Hello everyone,
I installed darcs plugin via plugin manager. Then I went to the "darcs
repository" page linked in the admin page.
Instead of a list of all the fine patches as described on the pictures
on http://wiki.erazor-zone.de/wiki:projects:php:dokuwiki:plugins:darcs,
I only see: " darcs failed: Unable to »dar pull« here. "
Hm. Where is "here"? The DokuWiki root? The plugin's root? The
documentation should include a hint that "here" means DOKU_INC ;-)
Maybe the plugin should look if a _darcs subdirectory exists "here" ;-)
and, if not so, execute "darcs initialize"?
After initializing darcs in DOKU_INC I get

If possible include the output of 'darcs --exact-version'.

Do I have to tell the darcs plugin (or darcs itself) what repository to
use? What do I have to enter in DOKU_INC/_darcs/prefs/repos then? Or is
it something in darcs.php or admin.php?
The plugins all show up (since I did a "darcs initialize" in each plugin
directory).
BTW, 'darcs --exact-version' says:
