My senario is this. In our company we have a "Computer Operations" dept with hundreds of documents. They want a place (i.e. namespace for their documents) in Wiki. They (the operators) will update their documents there (i.e. in their space). Some documents come from other dept's and Operation's don't want just anybody updating or inserting documents in "their space". So I was hoping to have a "staging area" where other people in the company (not Operations) where they can put a document. When Operations is happy with it they can move it to their namespace. I guess the attraction to DokuWiki is for the indexing and searching for documents. This is what I am ask to implement. ------------ Doesn't sound like a Wiki is the right software for you if you ask me. You didn't tell us in what environment you want to use DokuWiki, but this sounds like a typical business aproach to me. You should realize that the beauty of a wiki lies in it's loose of control. Each more restriction will make it more possible to be a failure in your company. BTW. how are documents updated after they are moved to their permanent place in your scenario?
