[dokuwiki] input and button alpha transparency png background images

Does anyone like these images in there current use?
I notice splitbrain doesn't use them. I only see them occasionally when
I change back the standard template to check on changes like the recent
mediamanager - but I find them distracting and they make reading some of
the input fields on the configuration settings page difficult.
