  * experimental shadow effect for input controls
This adds a shadow effect to input fields and buttons for the default
template. It uses alphatransparency PNGs so it will may look bad for IE
in some cases. I think it adds some nice 3D effect making inputs and
buttons easily distictable without any complicated CSS markup.

Bye,
your darcs changlog mailer

Alpha transparency PNGs in the standard template?

Isn't this a backwards step. iirc most(all) alphatransparency images were removed last year in response to a bug report. And for better or worse, the majority of internet users still use a browser which doesn't support alphatransparency and for which those images look odd with their blue backgrounds.

Sure if someone wants them in their own template, but I can't help thinking this is not a good idea for any part of default dokuwiki.
