I wondered if dokuwiki couldn't treat heading definitions like link
definitions, as they are already anchors, technically. This would look
like:

Hi, there are already some plugin for this like
https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:anchor.

Also you are welcome to raise feature requests at
https://github.com/splitbrain/dokuwiki/issues.

I am not sure why this is not a core feature. Maybe you can search for
discussion about this.
