Hello,
I started a page about chinese music. This implies that I wrote
lists of artists and such. The problem is that the headings to the
artists show the mandarin, the pinyin and the english writings or
substitutes of the artists names. In some cases, there's even tibetan or
mongolian writing. This makes the headings very unhandy as anchors.
One could move some stuff below the heading, but my theme pushes that
quite somewhat into the deep space. Also, it's smaller then, which
affects visual quick-search. And, sometimes it's hard to decide which
name to choose (is the english substitute more important than the
pinyin version?) From my point of view, also aesthetically, all the
versions belong into the heading. But that's a different question.
I wondered if dokuwiki couldn't treat heading definitions like link
definitions, as they are already anchors, technically. This would look
like:
== shortcut | very long title which is very informative ==
link to the [[#shortcut:very long title which is very informative]]
I also only use the heading definition because there's no other way to
define an anchor. Instead, I'd rather like to use normal formatting,
which allows me to put some parts between **. So what about a generic
support of the | for shortcuts, like:
陳潔麗 ** Lily | Chen Jie Li (Lily Chen) **
[[#Lily|to Lily Chen]]
