I am a relatively new member of this list, and am considering
unsubscribing. I am actually looking to be on neither a user list nor a
dev list. I am looking for an announcements list that will keep me
informed of new releases.

It's pretty standard for open source projects to have at least 3 mailing
lists: announce, help/user, and dev.

If you are serious about splitting the lists, I would recommend killing
dokuwiki@xxxxxxxxxxxxx, and creating dokuwiki-announce, dokuwiki-help, and
dokuwiki-dev. Then just keep the archives of this list hanging around.

My 2 cents.

Regards,
Vince
