[dokuwiki] Reject template if plugin does not exist?

Hey all,
What do you suppose is the best way to reject a user from using a
template until he installs a required plugin?
Perhaps "reject" isn't the best word, but I'd like to somehow convince
the person installing the template that he really shouldn't continue
without the plugin.
