You might also check the discussion plugin from Esther, see http://wiki.splitbrain.org/plugin:discussion
Works fine!

Hey peoples,
I've proposed to the city of Austin that we create a public wiki for documenting all things nature. The city seems to think that a wiki might be a good replacement for a program of theirs that's been floundering. If they still like the idea once they know what a wiki is, I'm planning to try to sell them on DokuWiki.
But one thing that makes me hesitate is the lack of support for per-page discussions. People are going to need to talk about each page out-of-band from the page, and I don't think it's reasable to tell people how to set up a special page for discussions. Creating a new page should automatically enable a discussion.
Can anyone think of a clean solution that doesn't require much coding? Thanks!
sure.. just create a template, which has a discussion button, which appends a _discussion to the url, so that if you are on: http://some-wiki.com/doku.php?id=nature:trees then button will go to: http://some-wiki.com/doku.php?id=nature:trees_discussion
