I already wondered why nobody asks that :-) I did it for various
reasons:
1. I really like the silk icon set - just my personal taste but this is
the important point ;-)
2. The old buttons did not really match the general DokuWiki design
3. The edges made it hard to integrate the buttons with different
designs - the new toolbar images are icons only (no border). The new
buttons itself are real <button></button>s which can be styled to match
the templates design by CSS.
