[dokuwiki] Is Igor likely to be released soon - need PHP8 to work

I run Dokuwiki on several [x]ubuntu systems, I try and keep the
installation in step on all the systems as it reduces the amount of
configuration and maintenance I need to do.

I have just updated one of my systems to xubuntu 21.10 which moves PHP
to version 8 so it has some problems with Hogfather.

When is Igor likely to be released?  Are there pre-release versions
available yet - I'm quite happy to Beta test.
