[dokuwiki] Integrating with phpbb

Hi,
I'm trying to integrate dokuwiki with phpbb.
My question is, the special group "user" works even if there
is no group named "user" in the phpbb db?
I'm having trouble when using the group "user" in the ACL.
The user authenticate normally but it just stay in the "ALL" group,
the "user" group ACL does not take effect.
