please use the dokuwiki mailinglist (https://www.dokuwiki.org/mailinglist) for questions so that everybody can benefit from the shared knowlegde.

From the information provided there seems nothing wrong (but there is ni error or debug log, nor anty information about your wiki installation).
You would need to look at the php error log or set php up for verbose logging to see what's wrong as DW swallows error messages. Also the DW debug log may provide a hint.

Note that GD is only required when the optionStaticMapGenerator is set to 'local' and that this also requires internet access for your server
