[dokuwiki] How to revert a change that breaks everything except admin?

I have just very successfully screwed up a Dokuwiki site (fortunately a
test site) by putting some bad PHP in the sidebar. The result is that
every page displayed is totally blank.
The admin pages show up OK though. Is there any way to revert a
specific page from the admin area? Or will I have to actually change
the sidebar.txt file directly? (I do have ssh access but it's broken
at the moment, waiting for someone to fix it)
