URL rewriting doesn't work. You either forgot to copy your .htaccess
or it is ignored by your new Apache config.

Thanks Andi, initially the apache rewrite module wasn't even installed
and I thought that was the problem, but it is installed now.  I'll
have to check that .htaccess is there and the configuration allows it
to be effective.

Spot on!  The new installation had 'AllowOverride None' for the
directory where my wiki is installed, changed to 'AllowOverride All'
and now my wiki is running.
