[dokuwiki] Dokuwiki sessions

Hi everybody,
I am trying to integrate dokuwiki with concrete5 by creating an auth plugin.
Both dokuwiki and concrete5 modify php.ini settings and start a session.
On the auth plugin development page, it states that I should destroy the
running dokuwiki session and let concrete5 run from there.
This destroys the login for dokuwiki.
I always get permission denied.
I can't figure out how tot get this to work.
Both dokuwiki and concrete5 are in the same root directory.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
