Not sure of your motives for Tomcat/Quercus but for what it is worth
I run dokuwiki behind the Jetty servlet container using a FastCGI servlet
I've written (http://jen.sourceforge.net/). It doesn't have enough users
for a mailing list either, but happy for you to mail me direct :-).

My own background is Java so I already have a lot of work done with it, so
Tomcat is a natural. But I also like to run some PHP software without having to
set up some other server as well.

Is there anyplace where I can find out what PHP servers are most used?
