Please pardon my jumping in here.
I, personally, would like to be able to easily disable changelogs, past page histories, etc. I never go back to any past page cache and my server backup routines are project (directory) based; so keeping all the past history isn't of value to me.
My wiki is used as a CMS for distributing content to students and while I wrote Perl cron jobs to clean various things out I was hoping for a more dokuwiki centric solution.
Current;y, as stated, I use a lot of Perl "cleaners" -- to both upgrade the dokuwiki and to clean out dead stuff.
