The problem has nothing to do with buffers. The very first version of 
spellchecker
code would have worked, if Aspell have worked correctly.

The attached patch solved all of my problems. The spellchecker worked as
expected. :-)

Without doubt this problem is caused by aspell and you should send them a bug
report.

PS: Now we could try to limit the spellchecker to wikitext only (no links, no 
tags, etc)
