if you've done Runtime Save All on your project, runtime versions of all your files will be saved out, regardless of whether they're embedded in the script. The reason your script file is 816k is most likely because you have the other stuff correctly embedded in it. You then only need the script file, along with anything else that's not embedded, in your app. -----Original Message----- From: directmusic-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:directmusic-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Paul Stroud Sent: 01 May 2003 14:48 To: DirectMusic List Subject: [directmusic] Runtime probs Hi All, I was under the impression that by putting files in the embedded folder of the script that I would have just one big file... the script - where have I gone wrong here? DMP Help says "...The contents of a component is available for use in the script without the need to distribute extra files" Also the script runtime file: Script1.spt is 816KB but Scipt1.spp is only 79.6KB - what's that all about? I would really like to keep the number of files down Paul
