[directmusic] Other runtime probs

My runtime save was almost a success, except that all I had done using a DLS
instrument (i.e. Sequence tracks) could not be heard. Unfortunately they
is no way to determine if they are playing but not sounding or just not
playing!
The segments and their sequence tracks work just fine in DMP - why should
there be any difference with the runtime files?
