Thanks for offering to host the archive. The list does indeed have an
archive, you can find it at:
//www.freelists.org/archives/directmusic/
You may have to login to freelists.org first, with a user name and password
that you created when you first joined the list.
Let me know if you keep the archive; so far nobody else have offered to take
over ownership and administration of the list, so it's looking like I may
close it from the new year or something.

I would hope that if the list does go away that the archives (if there are
any) could be compiled and made available in some manner, perhaps a web
site? If an archive is available I would be willing to make them available
